LIVING SUSTAINABLY IN COMMUNITY: COHOUSING

Charles Durrett and Kathryn McCamant are the architects who brought Cohousing from Denmark to North America over 20 years ago. They coined the word "cohousing" and have written several books on the subject. They have also built/designed over 50 cohousing communities and live in one in California. Over 200 communities have been developed across the US, including 6 in the Triangle area. Currently there is an acceleration in creating this type of housing solution as Baby Boomers seek a simpler more supportive way to age in place. There are over 100 US communities in progress at this time. Raleigh Cohousing is one of them.

Raleigh Cohousing is very delighted to have Chuck and Katie come to Raleigh and present this program to interest the people in the Triangle. Everyone is invited! No admission fee.
